Irish themed weekend at the Crookwell Services Club

IT ALL kicks off this Friday evening where Peter Carmody will entertain the Services Club visitors with some foot tapping, knee slapping Irish themed music. Don’t miss this show as you will be guaranteed a great night of entertainment plus the badge draw is worth $1250.00.

Saturday Night – Green Beer for St Patricks day from 6.00pm!! Yes, that is correct. Come along and sample a pint or two of the green lager, the bistro will be operating and Saturday evening’s entertainment for the crowds will be local singer/songwriter Chalkie White. Chalkie has married into the Francis family and has becoming a popular entertainer at the Club.

On Sunday you can join the barefoot bowls form 4.00pm onwards for a fundraising effort for the Crookwell born Hockeyroo’s Representative, Emily Smith.

Then on Sunday evening the regular Bowling Club raffles will be conducted. See the advertisement below for all the weeknights and weekends details.

Upcoming events to mark on your calendar are Sunday March 25 – Easter Egg handout, parents are asked to contact the club with children’s names and the cutoff for this is Tuesday March 20. Also on Sunday March 25 there will be an Indian Smorgasboard available at a small cost of $25 per head.

During May the Canberra band ‘Sunchaser’ and the Wayward Orchestra will entertain at the Club.

July will bring ‘Dirty Dicks’ Theatre restaurant and plenty more entertainment is proposed in the coming months.

The Crookwell Services Club is the central entertainment place to meet!
