MEMBERS of the community are invited to a public ‘whole of command’ meeting to be held at the Crookwell Services Club on Friday April 27 at 10.30am.
The meeting will discuss topics and business from each of the four local policing clusters.
Superintendent Worboys said: “this meeting is an excellent opportunity for local residents to not only have a say in their policing but also be made aware of what your police are doing on a daily basis in your area and everyone is welcome”.
There will also be a presentation covering the topic of ‘rural crime’ which will be provided by the Rural Crime Investigator, Senior Constable Daryl Riches.
The information will be both informative and beneficial to members of the Upper Lachlan Shire Community and will provide an opportunity for question time.
Senior police from Goulburn Local Area Command will also be in attendance and available to answer any questions the public may have.
This meeting will provide a good opportunity for the community to interact with their local police and see the direction their services are heading.
There will also be a short presentation on crime and crime statistics relevant to this Command.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and will be very welcome.
