Five members of the group, Avelinda Schuhmacher, Royce and Diane Burns, Marilyn Mitchell and Julie Fitzgerald entertained 45 guests at the home of Margaret Shearman on May 14.
Mrs Shearman said the pensioners group originally started to hold the cancer fundraiser at her home.
“After a few years the group eventually folded but we decided to keep the fundraiser going,” she said.
“It was great to have the ukulele group there to provide entertainment and a lot of people sung along to the tunes.”
A total of $820 was raised on the morning.
