April 7 – Bigga’s Biggest Market is on again this Easter. 9.00am until 2.00pm at Bigga Memorial Hall and Park. For further info contact Helen on 4835 2234

April 9 – Jerrawa Show – affectionately known as the “Little Royal”, the Jerrawa show includes a fantastic horse program including showjumping. Events start from 8.30am at Jerrawa Showground, for further information contact Gloria on 6227 5441.

April 21 and 22 – Australian Open Gardens Scheme – this year both Killoren and Markdale will be open for inspection. Come and be inspired or just relax and enjoy these beautiful cold climate gardens. For more information call 4832 1988 or go to www.opengardens南京夜网.au

April 21 and 22 – 2012 Gravel Pit Challenge – Round 2 of the NSW Off Road Championship held at Storrier’s Gravel Pit on Grabben Gullen Rd. Spectator entry is FREE so get on up to the pit for some adrenalin fuelled action.

April 21 – Old Time Dance at Laggan Hall. Turn off the TV, drag the kids away from the internet and come and enjoy an evening of fun, have a yarn, have a dance and help raise some money for the Laggan Hall refurbishments. April 22 – ‘Pastance’, the trio that performs Australian, Celtic, American and other ancient and modern folk music returns to Gunning on Sunday 22nd April. Their concert will be at 2pm with a program including a mix of fun, history and superb musicianship. Tickets $25, concessions and Focus Group Members $20. May 5 and 6 – Team Penning Competition at the Crookwell Showground. These events provide a fantastic spectator sport for the whole family. For more information contact Gillian on 0429321380.

May 5 – Gunning Anglican Parish Fete – come and grab a bargain.

May 6 – Collector Village Pumpkin Festival – the day for all things pumpkin!! The 2012 Collector Village Pumpkin Festival will again feature a wonderful array of pumpkin exhibits, food stalls, art, craft, gifts and entertainment for all the family

May 18 to 20 – “There’s A Monster In My Closet” – the 2012 Kids Acting On Stage Production hits the stage for a entertainment packed three days this May. Come and find out if there really is a monster in the closet! Tickets on sale from the Crookwell Visitor Information Centre after Easter.

May 19 – Bag A Bargain Shire Wide Garage Sale Trail. Now in its fourth year, the 2012 event is shaping up to be the best ever. Registrations open April 10 and close May 19. June 9 to 11 – Focus on Taralga Art Exhibition and Sale. The annual art show of the Taralga Progress Association is once again on this June long weekend. Lock it in your diary now and watch out for details closer to the date.
