The game was pretty even for the first 10 minutes as our team defended well and they also covered a lot of ground with some hard running through the middle with Rowdi Saunders leading the way.

Dungog’s first try was scored by Michael Peacock after some quick passing of the ball by Jake Bannister and Michael Peacock, Michael was able to cross the line out wide. Conversion was unsuccessful.

The second try came after 14 minutes when Michael Peacock ran around the defence to score out wide and once again the conversion was unsuccessful. Greta/Branxton fought hard for the remainder of the half and kept the score to 8-0.

Our boys started the second half strong and after some quick plays, Mitch Grey got over the line but unfortunately lost the ball.

It was not long after though that Jake Bannister made a strong run out wide to score in the corner, the conversion was unsuccessful, but the score was now 12-0.

Michael Peacock and Jake Bannister scored another try each to put the game out of the oppositions reach. Conversions were kicked by Mitch Grey and Jake Bannister.

Gus Lawrence was good with the high ball and made good ground, Rowdi Saunders, Jake Eyb and Cooper Wilson ran the ball strongly up the centre, Jake Bannister was good out wide and Mitch Grey and Tom Hudson showed some great defence.

Man of match points: Three Rowdi Saunders for his strong running and he also defended well. Two to Tom Hudson for his non- stop tackling and one to Michael Peacock who was great in attack and scored three tries.
